Here we are at the end of the month.
Mom and Dad should be arriving at home1 anytime now.
Dad called yesterday, and gave me some terrible news, which hopefully doesn't pan out, but Larry, his best friend of over 25 years, and what I consider a backup father, has what they believe is a tumor next to his liver. He is going to Seattle tomorrow to get tested more, but it didn't sound very good to me. I spent the next 20 minutes trying not to break down, as statistics show that many married couples when one passes, the other passes not long afterwards. Larry isn't in the best health, so it hit me real hard. I can only hope that it isn't worse than it sounded.
I'm sitting here with a tear in my eye, hoping for the best.
Had another thing happen today. I was looking at browser history to figure out why the puter is running slow, and came across a friendsconnect thing. Whenever I see something like that, it isn't good news, it usually means theres something going on.
Anyways, off for another nice evening.

Here we are, day one of our new blog. My old one, A Verity Quits Smoking, isn't that exciting now, as it's been over four months since I quit.
Going to be short today, but will be back.
